Have you ever wondered if it’s at all possible to eat healthy – yet still enjoy your favourite foods without any negative effects on your body or conscience (guilt)?
So many people struggle to live healthier lifestyles simply due to the fact that they don’t want to give up their favourite foods. Can you blame them? I mean, who wants to live in a world where you can’t eat what you love? Probably nobody. Good food is one of the finest and most satisfying things that this beautiful life has to offer, yet there seems to be a common misconception – that good food can’t be good for you.
This is where we have tried to change the game with Sweet Nutrition. Our mission is to create the sweets, treats and snacks that everyone loves and craves on a daily basis, but with a healthy twist – a Sweet twist, if you will.
We only source the highest quality of ingredients to ensure that our products not only taste great, but most importantly make you feel great too.

Keep reading below to see why proud partner and brand ambassador, Taylor Leier of the Buffalo Sabres organization loves our cookies so much, and why they fit perfectly into the lifestyle of a professional athlete.
Hi guys! My name is Taylor Leier. I am a close friend, and proud partner of Sweet Nutrition alongside Casey and Austin (company founders). I am currently a professional hockey player in the middle of my 6th pro season which began with the Philadelphia Flyers organization. I spent time playing for both the Flyers in the NHL and Phantoms in AHL over the course of the 5 years before being traded to the Buffalo Sabres in January of 2019.
I grew up in Saskatoon, SK with a dream of playing hockey for a living. I loved all sports, but I couldn’t imagine playing anything other than hockey. I was obsessed with challenging myself, and trying to get better! I found it fun, challenging and addicting – I was hooked at an early age.
I’ve made some of my best friendships playing hockey, which included playing with Austin growing up, and also against Casey at this same time (small world!). I’ve been involved with athletics and around a team atmosphere since I was young. For a long time now, I’ve had the chance to learn and take in how other athletes approached their careers, on and off the ice. As professional hockey players, we spend countless hours together. In the dressing room, on the bus, on the plane, having meals and snacks together (Sweet Nutrition cookies of course) – your teammates really become your family during the season. As I’ve continued to play, and continued to be surrounded by other athletes and trainers throughout my career, I’ve become more and more aware of how important diet and proper nutrition is. I quickly became passionate about it and have tried to treat my body as best as I possibly can for as long as I can remember.
Promoting health and wellness has become a daily routine of mine that I thoroughly enjoy. I define being healthy as feeling great. But, in order to feel great you need to take of your body – and your mind! I try to do this by eating a clean diet, which in the end keeps me energized and allows me to live a positive and happy life!
Sleep, nutrition, training, and recovery are all essential for an athlete to achieve success. Although all are important, I have become infatuated with the nutrition side of things more so for a while now. Once I figured out that you can make healthy, whole foods actually taste good, I was hooked! I have been hooked ever since, and that path has led me straight to Sweet Nutrition.
Although I can’t personally pick a favorite between Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter or Snickerdoodle, each of the three flavours has found their way into becoming a staple snack in my diet.
To be honest though – I don’t really follow a “diet”. I genuinely just stick to real, natural foods and snacks that have clean, wholesome ingredients. It works for me, and generally allows me to continue eating all of my favourite foods. My body digests and uses those types of foods best, and our cookies at Sweet Nutrition definitely fit that profile. Clean ingredients with great taste!
Before and after games, I usually stick to high-carbohydrate meals because I need the carbs for energy to perform, and for the recovery afterwards. I typically go with rice, regular or sweet potatoes, chicken as my protein, some veggies and a big salad. For snacks, our cookies are always around my house, and when we’re on the road I always make sure I have enough stock on hand for myself – and my teammates! I was so excited to be able to share our product with them for the first time this year. They couldn’t believe how good they were, and that they could actually enjoy such a great tasting snack that has as many amazing qualities as they do.
I hope it’s the same for everyone trying our cookies for the first time.
